Research and development unit

The purpose of Research and Development unit in Jahan Iron and Steel Company is to add new products and services to the production line and present them to the market.
In the initial investigation of the R&D unit of this Company, the country’s 100% dependence on the import of fittings, for UPVC door and window manufacturing companies which were 40-45% of them were based in the province, It multiplied the production costs.
With the current situation, the share of 70-80% of Jahan Iron and Steel Company in the production of Galvanized Reinforcing Profiles had created an undeniable capacity to enter the Manufacturing of this type of Door and Window Fittings.
It was in this situation that the R&D of Jahan Iron and Steel Company, based on the Company’s capacity, based on the needs of the market, put the design and production of UPVC Door and Window Fittings on its agenda in order to gain a great competitive advantage over its competitors.
Since two years ago, the localization of this product was placed on the agenda of the Company.
The first step was to provide the necessary equipment to start the Production Lines of this strategic product.
With the efforts of the Company’s cngineers and reverse engineering of common equipment used in some industries, Robotic Arms were designed and manufactured for the first time in the country to produce UPVC Door and Window Handles.
Currently, the country’s first fully automatic UPVC Door and Window Handle production line under the name of Sepehr Yaragh Parsian Company is on the verge of operation and has a monthly production capacity of 250,000 Door Handles and 540,000 Window Handles.
